KCCU is committed to enhancing the financial well-being of our members. We value education and support our members' academic pursuits through our scholarship program.

KCCU awards $1,000 scholarships to students who demonstrate strong character, citizenship, and leadership.

The application deadline for the 2026 KCCU scholarship program is Sunday, April 12, 2026.

The KCCU College Scholarship will provide $1,000 towards tuition at an accredited community college, university, or trade school.
The scholarship will be payable to the college or institution of your choice as a one-time payment for Fall 2026 tuition, not to include books.

requirements

To be eligible for the KCCU Scholarship you must meet the following requirements:

You have been a member of KCCU since February 1, 2026.
Be a 2026 high school graduate who is planning to attend a university, college, or trade school full time in the fall of 2026.
Have a 3.0 GPA or above in high school and provide a copy of your transcripts.
Complete the following three Zogo financial literacy modules listed below. Click here to see instructions.
1. Succeed at College
2. Make a Budget
3. Live on a Budget
- All modules must be completed with 85% accuracy.
- Student must submit screenshots of the Certificate of Completion for the above three Zogo modules.
Must complete a typed essay answering the following question (please do not use AI):
- KCCU values leadership, integrity, and service. In what ways would this scholarship enable you to further develop these qualities and work toward your goals while continuing to serve others?

Every qualified candidate will be considered. Individual’s demonstration of good character, citizenship, and leadership will be evaluated. Scholarship applications should be submitted online no later than Sunday, April 12, 2026. Incomplete applications or applications received after the deadline will not be considered.
